PROVAM - Produtores de Vinho Alvarinho de Monção

The company PROVAM was set up by 10 wine producers in the Monção and Melgaço subregion. Driven by their passion for all things wine, in 1992 they decided to build a modern functional winery to produce wines from the Alvarinho grape variety as well as Alvarinho and Trajadura blends.

Our main goal is to honor the Alvarinho grape variety by crafting wines that do justice to their origin, Monção & Melgaço, championing our territory, terroir, microclimate, viticulture, winemaking, history, gastronomy, and uniqueness.

We produce wines with character, we defy the times and trends, and we offer singular experiences that will leave a lasting impression on the nose, on the palate, and in the eye.
